Michelle began her fitness journey during her second pregnancy in her very own living room!
As a beginner she was working out to a book, using only body weight. Eventually she progressed and followed along to her favorite Kathy Smith videos.
She then discovered that health begins in the kitchen and what we put in our bodies. Testing nutritious recipes from health magazines, Michelle developed a love of all things wellness by learning about food and it's nutritional value.
In 2011, Michelle followed her passion and completed her training to become a Registered Holistic Practitioner. This provided her with a broad sense of knowledge concerning all things nutrition and wellness, looking at the body from a wide perspective, instead of from a band-aid approach.
Since then Michelle has worked with many individuals dealing with health issues including cancer.
Michelle is a member of The Canadian Association of Nutritional Practitioners. The idea of being able to provide "Holistic advice" lead her to become certified as a Personal Trainer. Through her own experience Michelle understands that to achieve over-all wellness, fitness and nutrition, must be combined. Following this methodology, Michelle has proven that fitness and health are attainable at any age.
